Previous previewAlthough Huawei's upcoming "Smart Screen" product was not unveiled during the previous IFA 2019, it was chosen to be unveiled at this Munich conference together with the Mate 30 series models, and it will be named Huawei Smart Screen (HUAWEI Vision).
According to the details released by Huawei, the Huawei Smart Screen will be built with a quantum dot screen with a 4K resolution and support for a 120Hz screen refresh rate. It will not adopt an 8K resolution design as previously rumored. It also does not have a 5G connection function and only supports 4G connection services.
The sound part provides an "8+1+1" speaker design, which includes 8 sets of mid-high-frequency speakers and 1 set of mid-woofers. In addition, there are sound reflectors that can be used to construct the sound field. The beamforming technology is used to generate a suitable sound field, allowing users to have a more realistic listening experience.
The built-in lifting video camera has a facial recognition function, which can be used to distinguish the identities of different users in the home and access different application content.
Huawei hasn't disclosed the operating system used by the Huawei Smart Screen, but it's likely to be based on its HarmonyOS. Regarding app functionality, Huawei also emphasized the ability to quickly share mobile content to the Huawei Smart Screen via HUAWEI Share technology. It can even be connected to the Huawei Smart Screen by using the phone's remote control. Furthermore, it can integrate with a wide range of IoT devices.
Currently, Huawei Smart Screen will be available in two popular sizes: 65 inches and 75 inches. It is expected to launch a more popular 55-inch size and a larger 85-inch size in the future, but the specific price and launch time have not yet been confirmed.
