Huawei announced today in Taiwan the introduction of three MateBook series laptops equipped with Intel's 12th-generation Core series processors, compliant with Intel EVO design certification, and equipped with Huawei's super terminal technology.
The models entering Taiwan this time include the new flagship MateBook X Pro, the MateBook D16 with a 16-inch screen, and the MateBook D14, which focuses on mobile computing. All three laptops run the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system and offer first-time purchase discounts of up to NT$5000, plus a Microsoft 365 subscription.
In terms of suggested retail prices, the MateBook X Pro has a suggested retail price of NT$54990, the MateBook D16 has a suggested retail price of NT$30990, and the MateBook D14 has a suggested retail price of NT$28990. All three laptops are officially available in designated channels starting today.
The MateBook Pro X is crafted from CNC aluminum alloy, weighing 1.38 kg. It features a 3120K primary color touchscreen with a narrow bezel, a resolution of 2080 x 3, and a 2:3.1 aspect ratio. It also features a hidden video camera and supports "Multi-Screen Same Color" technology, which allows for the same color display when used with specific Huawei laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The screen refresh rate can also be manually switched between 90Hz and 60Hz.
In addition, by pairing the tablet with the HUAWEI M-Pencil stylus, you can use the tablet and stylus as an extended drawing board for the MateBook Pro X.
The MateBook Pro X is powered by a Core i7-1260P processor, 16GB of DDR5 memory, and a 1TB PCIe SSD. It can also enable 30W high-performance computing mode, a 60Wh battery, and a second-generation 65W mini charger. Two of the four built-in USB Type-C ports support Thunderbolt 4.

As for the MateBook D14, it features a 14-inch IPS screen with a Full HD resolution, weighs 1.38 kg, and has a hinge that can be opened to nearly 180 degrees. It has a built-in Core i5-1240P processor, 16GB of memory, and 512GB of PCIe SSD storage capacity. The battery has a capacity of 56Wh and is also equipped with a 65W mini charger.
Yong Hai, General Manager of Xunwei Technology, Huawei's Taiwan distributor, stated that Huawei will continue to offer consumers a new smart office experience with its "super terminals." This demonstrates the breakthrough sales performance of Huawei laptops in multiple global markets. In Taiwan, sales in the first half of 2022 increased by 1% compared to the same period last year. The company hopes to enable even more Taiwanese consumers to enjoy the ultimate smart living experience brought by Huawei products.
