Previously announced to launchThe fifth foldable phone: Mate Xs 5Afterwards, Huawei announced today (4/28) the launch of this phone in the Chinese market, touting it as an ultra-light, ultra-flat, and ultra-reliable user experience.
Among them, Huawei explained that the new double-rotating eagle-wing hinge technology allows the 7.8-inch foldable screen to be presented in a flatter form and corresponds to the natural color rendering effect. At the same time, by using fiberglass, aviation-grade titanium alloy and ultra-light steel to build the body, the weight of the whole machine is reduced to 255 grams, almost close to the weight of traditional large-screen mobile phones, while maintaining high toughness and durability.
The newly launched Mate Xs 2 adopts the original single-sided large-screen concave design, with a resolution of 2480 x 2200, a display density of 424ppi, and an 8:7.1 display ratio. It supports a 120Hz frame refresh rate, a 240Hz touch response rate, and a 1440Hz dimming frequency. It also uses an anti-reflective nano-optical coating to reduce glare. The concave screen adopts a 19:9 display ratio, and its usage is not much different from that of ordinary large-screen mobile phones.
The body comes in three colors: Elegant Black, Brocade White, and Frost Purple. The processor uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 specifications, but like the mobile phone launched last year, it can only support 4G LTE connection. It is also equipped with 8GB or 12GB of memory and 256GB or 512GB of storage capacity. The battery adopts a 4880mAh capacity design and supports 66W wired fast charging. It also uses graphene material for heat dissipation.
In terms of camera, the Mate Xs 2 uses a 1070-megapixel video lens, and the main camera is equipped with a 5000-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 1300-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 800-megapixel, 3x optical zoom lens. Combined with XD Optics computational optics technology, it can capture clear images that restore details, and through the XD Fusion Pro primary color engine, the captured images can correspond to the true color performance.
As for the user experience of the foldable screen, Huawei allows apps to automatically extend when the screen is unfolded, and takes advantage of the large-screen display mode, supporting multiple windows and multi-tasking operation modes. It also improves work efficiency through floating windows. At the same time, it also claims that the top 300 popular apps are compatible with the large-screen, and 2000% of the top 90 popular apps are also compatible.
Mate Xs 2預計從即日起預訂,將在5月6日上午10點8分於中國市場開放銷售,建議售價則從人民幣9999元起跳。
