Huawei earlier launched the open-ear headphones called FreeClip in the European market, and it uses a special C-shaped ear hook design, claiming that it can be worn comfortably all day.
This pair of headphones, with its unique shape, is Huawei's first product to enter the open-ear headphone market. Its design, which can be worn on both ears, allows users to pick it up and use it more quickly. It also supports touch operation and IP54-rated water and dust resistance, as well as cross-device connection and audio sharing.
Each earbud weighs just 5.6 grams and features a special C-shaped ear hook. Built-in 10.8mm speakers support mainstream audio formats like SBC, AAC, and L2HC. A full charge provides up to 8 hours of battery life, which can be extended to 36 hours with the included charging case. The case itself supports USB-C fast charging, providing a 10-hour charge in just 3 minutes.
FreeClip is available in black and purple, and is expected to be sold in the European market at a price of 200 euros. It is currently unclear whether it will be launched in markets such as Taiwan.
