今年在6月中旬對外揭曉，但HTC直到9月1日才正式宣佈新款旗艦手機HTC U20 5G正式在台上市資訊，預計在9月5日陸續於台灣各大通路、網路門市上架銷售，單機建議售價則是新台幣18990元。
