Announced to join in mid-April this yearBlockchain Venture Capital FundHTC earlier confirmed that it has partnered with Bitcoin exchange service company Bitcoin.comCooperationIt is expected that through a firmware update, its blockchain phone EXODUS 1 will be pre-loaded with the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) wallet app, allowing users to trade Bitcoin more conveniently through their mobile phones.

HTC partners with Bitcoin.com to release a pre-loaded Bitcoin wallet on its blockchain phone, the EXODUS 1.

The partnership also includes additional discounts for future mobile phone purchases made with Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin.com will also be offering the HTC EXODUS 1 for sale, with plans to expand further collaborations in the future. Both parties emphasized that this partnership is built on a long-term, interactive relationship.

HTC officially launched its first blockchain phone last yearExodus 1The main purpose of Exodus 1 is not to allow people to "mine coins" at any time through their mobile phones, but to make the mobile phone a personal identity device on the Internet, and to open information stored in a decentralized manner on the Internet through authorization comparison. Using cryptocurrency is only one of the functions of Exodus XNUMX, but more importantly, it can serve as a personal "node" on the Internet, allowing users to use Internet services more safely while ensuring personal privacy.

Regarding blockchain application development, HTC recently announced its participation in Proof of Capital, a $500 million blockchain venture capital fund co-founded by HTC EXODUS Blockchain Chief Chen Xinsheng, 5 Startups' Peishan Yang, and former Greylock Partners Community Head Chris McCann. The fund aims to jointly promote the large-scale global adoption of blockchain by early-stage startups.

According to Chen Xinsheng, Proof of Capital will invest in forward-thinking and capable entrepreneurs in the blockchain ecosystem who have a long-term vision and a desire to disrupt the market. Key investment areas will include fintech (payments, remittances, custody, and e-wallets), infrastructure (privacy, security, and electronic identity authentication), hardware, chipsets, and consumer internet projects.

In addition, Chen Xinsheng also revealed earlier that a new blockchain phone will be launched in the third quarter of this year.Exodus 1s, hoping to integrate blockchain technology with more daily life applications and enable more people to ensure personal privacy security through blockchain technology.

The specific details of Exodus 1s are still unknown, but it is possible that in order to attract more people to use it, it will switch to Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 or 600 series processors, or even MediaTek processor products. It is also expected to support the Zion encrypted wallet function that Exodus 1 already supports, and use Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, or ERC-20, ERC-721 and other cryptocurrencies based on the Ethereum crisis.
