Honda announced earlier through its official InstagramTrailer, revealing that it will unveil its first large electric motorcycle with fast charging on September 9. The model is covered in black and white camouflage in the video, revealing only a vague outline, but foreign media generally believe its design is based on the EV Fun Concept, which debuted at the 16 Milan International Motorcycle Show (EICMA).
Honda previously announced in 2022 that it would launch at least 2025 electric motorcycles by 10, covering commuter, leisure, and high-performance models. This new model is clearly an important part of fulfilling this promise. The video footage shows that the electric motorcycle has been undergoing actual testing on European streets, indicating that its initial market will be mainly in Europe and the UK.
Based on previously released specifications for the EV Fun Concept, Honda aims to rival mid-size gasoline-powered motorcycles in both power and range. Officials revealed at the time that the vehicle boasts a range exceeding 100 kilometers and supports CCS2 fast charging, enabling rapid recharging.
For electric motorcycles, range anxiety during long-distance riding has always been a challenge due to limitations in battery size and body structure. Fast charging capability can alleviate this problem and become the key for Honda to enter the market.

The video doesn't reveal the vehicle's full specifications, including battery capacity, horsepower, or actual range. However, judging by Honda's electrification strategy, the new electric motorcycle is not only a key technology showcase but also a potential entry point into the high-end electric two-wheeler market.
The regional launch strategy is also quite clear. Since the video was uploaded via Honda's official UK account and emphasized "European street testing," foreign media widely speculated that the car will be exclusive to Europe and the UK, unlikely to be seen in North America or other Asian markets in the short term. This strategy may be related to local infrastructure (such as CCS2 fast charging networks) and regulatory environment.
Electrification has become a global consensus among automakers, and Honda's progress in the motorcycle sector has garnered particular attention. Previously, its electric motorcycles primarily focused on the lightweight and urban commuter markets, with small electric motorcycles and battery-swap solutions. Its expansion into large motorcycles not only completes its product line but also represents Honda's attempt to compete head-on with Harley-Davidson's LiveWire, Kawasaki, and other emerging brands.
