HMD earlier launched a new model calledHMD Touch 4GThe feature phone, from its appearance to its positioning, clearly pays tribute to the Nokia Asha series that was once popular among young users.
The HMD Touch 4G features a 3.2-inch, 320×240 resolution screen, thick top and bottom bezels, and a sleek, rounded exterior. Available in cyan and dark blue, it continues Nokia's signature fresh, vibrant color palette. Its overall design is reminiscent of the Asha 503, a feature phone released in 2013.
On the back, the circular camera module layout is similar to that of the Lumia 1020. This fusion of classic Nokia design cues gives the phone a retro feel. Regarding the camera, the HMD Touch 4G features a 200-megapixel main lens and a 30-megapixel front lens. While basic, it's more than adequate for everyday communication and imaging.
In terms of specifications, this phone is equipped with a UNISOC T127 processor, 64MB of memory and 128MB of storage space, supports micro SD expansion up to 32GB, and the battery capacity is 1950mAh, which is charged via USB-C interface.
The system uses the RTOS Touch operating interface built on RTOS. HMD emphasizes that the system mainly operates through cloud services, and users can use browser-based applications in a simplified interface, such as web-based communication and social platforms.
In addition, the phone has a built-in instant messaging application called Express Chat, which can also be connected with Android and iOS versions, allowing users to stay in touch across platforms.
The HMD Touch 4G is priced at 3999 rupees (approximately NT$1550) in India, and a release in other regions has not yet been announced. Regardless of market response, this product demonstrates HMD's reinterpretation of nostalgic style and minimalist functionality, continuing the Nokia-era brand spirit of "making mobile phones more affordable for everyone."
