However, Adam Ferguson, global product marketing director of HMD Global, recently explained during MWC 2022 thatWill postpone the launch of flagship phones, and focus on development strategies in different consumer markets.
The recently launched new machine is based onNokia 5710 XpressAudio, a feature phone with integrated earphones, the Nokia 4 8210G, a replica feature phone that supports 4G networking, and the Nokia 2660 Flip, a foldable feature phone with an optional dedicated charging stand. There were no updates to the mainstream smartphone products, which seems to highlight that HMD Global will focus on different market strategies to avoid competing with mainstream mobile phone manufacturers such as Samsung.
However, during IFA 2022, HMD Global is expected to launch new models in the X30 and G80 series, featuring upgraded hardware specifications. The company is also expected to expand beyond smartphones. Nokia-branded laptops, previously offered through private label retailers Flipkart and French startup OFF Global, are also expected to be updated during IFA 2022.
