Hideki Kamiya, one of the co-founders of PlatinumGames, announced earlier that he would be leaving the company on October 10 this year, and also revealed that he would make games in a personal way in the future.
Platinum Games did not explain the specific reasons for Hideki Kamiya's departure, and Hideki Kamiya himself only said that the decision to leave was not an easy one, but he made the decision after careful consideration based on his personal beliefs.
Hideki Kamiya joined CAPCOM in 1994 and served as the game director of "Resident Evil 1998" released in 2. He was later responsible for the production of famous works such as "Devil May Cry" and "Ultraman Joe". Later in 2004, he moved to Clover Studio under CAPCOM to supervise the production of "Okami".
In July 2006, he formed SEEDS with Shinji Mikami and Atsushi Inaba, and the following year merged with ODD founded by Tatsuya Mitsuhiro and changed its name to PlatinumGames. At this time, Hideki Kamiya was responsible for the production of game works including "Magic Soldier", "Magic Superman 7", and "Astral Chain".
