Blizzard Entertainment unveiled the latest expansion for Hearthstone, "Battle in the Badlands," at the BlizzCon 2023 event. It's expected to launch globally on November 11th, adding 15 new cards and new keywords: "Quick Hand" and "Dig."
"Battle in the Badlands" will be presented in the style of the Western Wilds of Azeroth, describing how the "Saviors of the Badlands" Elise and Reno Jackson led the people to overthrow Sheriff Barrel Edge, who threatened and lured the townspeople to work in the mines, and stopped the mining operations of the Blood Rock Mining Company, which wanted to drain the land and dig up the Azeroth crystal rock.
This expansion will add 145 new cards, as well as new card packs called "Catch-Up Packs," allowing returning Hearthstone players or new players to get an extra 50 cards through these packs, helping them catch up on the update gap of the past two years.
In addition, the development team also announced that it will add cooperative gameplay and hero battlefield doubles to "Hearthstone" in 2024, allowing players to share health and card resources with teammates, and use card combination effects in two-player team play mode.
