Nespresso recently launched the new Vertuo series of coffee machines in the Taiwanese market. The author also personally experienced the Vertuo Next model, paired with the new coffee capsule series, and felt the rich flavor of coffee extracted using Nespresso's proprietary technology.
The Vertuo series of coffee machines targets Taiwanese consumers who prefer American coffee, many of whom also drink it with milk. Therefore, based on the convenience of the original series of coffee machines, they have added a larger cup capacity and new coffee capsules for drinking with milk.
During the extraction process, the coffee machine uses Centrifusion high-speed centrifugal extraction technology to produce a thicker coffee crema at a speed of up to 4000 revolutions per minute. This not only further ensures the coffee's drinking temperature, but also retains sufficient rich coffee aroma.
The special barcode on the coffee capsule allows the coffee machine to automatically identify the corresponding water temperature, water volume, extraction speed and coffee pre-infusion time. The user only needs to add water, put in the coffee capsule, and press the button on the coffee machine. Then wait 1-2 minutes to get a cup of espresso or Americano according to personal choice.
There are a total of 32 types of coffee capsules launched for the Vertuo series of coffee machines, including American coffee that Taiwanese consumers drink for a long time, as well as coffee options that can be drunk with milk. The flavors range from refreshing floral and fruity, round and balanced to strong and spicy. Among them are Colombian coffee with candied apple notes, Ethiopian coffee with floral notes, and coffee beans from Costa Rica and other places, giving consumers more choices.
The Vertuo series coffee machines launched in Taiwan have been developed for 7 years and target the drinking preferences of coffee lovers. They are divided into three designs: classic, light luxury and premium. They are available in five colors: mist black, cherry red, textured gray, rose gold and luxury silver. The suggested retail price starts from NT$7900, and the corresponding coffee capsules start from NT$20.
For the newly launched Vertuo series of coffee machines, Nespresso uses environmentally friendly recycled paper and a simplified design to produce original boxes. It also emphasizes the use of a higher proportion of recycled materials in coffee capsules and improves the efficiency of recycling operations to reduce the impact on the environment.
