This system features a specially designed climbing arm that coordinates lifting and climbing movements. In real-world challenges, it can easily overcome the daunting "4.5+4.3" cm double-layer threshold obstacle. This means that whether it's the extra-high threshold of a home partition or the thick sliding rails of a balcony floor-to-ceiling window, it's a piece of cake for it.
However, it's important to note that the "4.5+4.3" cm obstacle-crossing capability mentioned here actually means that the height of the first obstacle can only be a maximum of 4.5 cm, and the height of subsequent obstacles can only be 4.3 cm. In other words, it's possible to climb a series of height thresholds similar to stairs, rather than climbing an obstacle height of "8.8" cm in one go. For example, in my home, where there is a height difference of about 6 cm in the floor structure, the Saros 20 Sonic attempted to climb over it during the cleaning process, but it eventually got stuck due to the height difference and had to retreat and give up the challenge.
However, its low-profile design, which allows it to reach depths of only 7.95 cm, along with the RetractSense intelligent lifting LDS navigation system, enables it to penetrate under common sofas or cabinets. By turning on the lights, the Saros 20 Sonic can more clearly identify which floor dirt needs to be cleaned carefully. At the same time, the original height of the LDS navigation system will not affect its movement, nor will lowering the LDS navigation system cause the robot vacuum to malfunction.

Beyond its powerful sweeping, mopping, and obstacle-crossing capabilities, the Saros 20 Sonic also excels in daily maintenance. The DuoDivide main brush and FlexiArm curved side brush ensure zero tangling, significantly reducing the hassle of manually cleaning hair. The included new RockDock all-purpose high-temperature self-cleaning base supports hot water washing up to 100°C and hot air drying up to 55°C, effectively breaking down oil and residue on the mop and preventing the growth of bacteria and odors.
