GuliKit, which has previously released a variety of peripheral accessories for Steam Deck, announced earlier that it will release a base accessory for Steam Deck that imitates the design elements of the US-standard Super Nintendo. This will make it easier for users to connect Steam Deck to TVs and large-screen monitors for output and display, and use it as a desktop computer by using Bluetooth joysticks.
This dock accessory is not limited to use with Steam Deck, but can also be used with ROG Ally launched by ASUS, AYANEO series handheld game consoles launched by Arnold, and even Nintendo Switch launched by Nintendo.
In terms of specifications, this base accessory provides USB-C connection for charging and an external charger connection port, providing up to 100W power transmission. It also has a wired network port, HDMI and 3 sets of USB 3.0 ports, and the image output can reach up to 4K 60Hz specifications.
The overall appearance design is based on the concept of the US-standard Super Nintendo. The socket groove is equipped with heat dissipation holes, and when not in use, the cover can be manually moved back and forth to cover it.
GuliKit has not yet confirmed when this base accessory will be launched, but it is expected to be available as early as September. The suggested retail price has not yet been determined, and it is also uncertain whether other designs will be launched, such as the Japanese version of Super Nintendo?
