Grammarly, a popular AI-powered writing aid founded in 2009, earlierAnnounceGrammarly is undergoing a major rebranding and will be renamed Superhuman. This rebranding follows Grammarly's earlier announcement this year of its acquisition of the advanced email service Superhuman Mail and the AI-driven work assistant service.Tail (Also acquired in 2025) Key integration steps afterward.
What is rather unusual is that Grammarly, as the acquiring party, chose to adopt the brand name of the acquired company instead of integrating the acquired services into Grammarly.
Integrating three major services, the new AI assistant Superhuman Go is launched.
The renamed Superhuman service platform will integrate the original Grammarly writing assistant, Superhuman Mail email service, and Coda AI work assistant into a single productivity suite, and users will be able to access all tools through a single subscription plan in the future.
Alongside this integration, the company also launched a brand-new AI assistant, "Superhuman Go." This assistant will be included in all Superhuman subscription plans and is already integrated directly into the Grammarly (now Superhuman) extension for Chrome and Edge browsers.
The main features of Superhuman Go include:
• Assist in writing professional email replies
• Information extraction
• Arrange meeting itinerary
Initially, Superhuman Go could connect to users' Google Workspace and Microsoft Outlook applications. Its design philosophy was to allow AI to continuously provide suggestions in the background, rather than requiring users to actively request assistance.
Vision: To expand from writing agency to full-service work agency
Superhuman stated that the vision behind this rebranding is to move beyond simply viewing it as a "writing agent." By integrating different agents and platforms (Grammarly/Superhuman Mail/Coda), the goal is to help users complete their work more efficiently.
Superhuman also plans to add more features to Coda and Superhuman Mail, such as converting ideas from meetings directly into drafts and organizing inboxes more effectively based on the user's calendar.
Plans and Prices
Existing Grammarly users can start using Superhuman Go, while the new Superhuman suite will offer a variety of subscription options:
