Google is showcasing two of its Gemini artificial intelligence application technologies at MWC 2025. These include Live Video, which allows Gemini to analyze camera images and interact through multimodal conversations, and the ability for Gemini to analyze and answer content displayed on the phone screen. Both technologies are expected to be available for Android devices starting in March.
The Gemini Live Video feature was actually demonstrated by Google at Google I/O 2024.Project AstraOne of them is that Gemini artificial intelligence technology can use multimodal conversational interaction to instantly analyze and respond to images captured by mobile phone cameras, and can provide appropriate answers to the content of users' questions.
The screen sharing function allows Gemini to analyze the current content displayed on the mobile phone screen, and through oral questions, Gemini can answer the mobile phone running apps or open the content displayed on the web page, allowing users to query information in a more intuitive way by circling and searching.
Google plans to make the features it showcased and previewed during MWC 3 available to Android device users who subscribe to the Google One AI Premium plan or pay for the Gemini Advanced service by the end of March.
