Google recently launched the experimental feature "Little Language Lessons" through its Google Labs, using Gemini artificial intelligence technology to create a variety of language learning tools, and even using Google Lens technology to help users quickly find the corresponding foreign language names of objects seen in daily life.

Google's experimental feature, "Little Language Lessons," uses Gemini artificial intelligence technology to simulate scenarios such as "ordering food at a coffee shop" and "reporting a lost passport at the airport," allowing users to practice the correct usage of different words, phrases, and even local slang, thereby learning more authentic local expressions.
However, "Little Language Lessons" currently only provides English, Spanish and Portuguese interfaces, but the learning languages available include Arabic, Chinese, Hong Kong Chinese, Taiwanese Chinese, Australian English, British English, American English, French, Canadian French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Haitian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, and Turkish.
The learning curriculum includes vocabulary, lexicon, phrases and grammar education, as well as "Tiny Lessons" for learning languages through contextual situations, and "Slang Hang" for learning authentic expressions and slang. Furthermore, students can use Google Lens technology to identify specific language expressions for objects they see in their daily lives by taking photos with their phone's camera.
Since this feature is still in the experimental stage, Google said that "Little Language Lessons" may still contain errors, offenses, or inaccuracies, but the goal is to use artificial intelligence technology to make it easier for more people to learn foreign languages.
