Google announced its Workspace serviceAdd electronic signature function, and opened it to users in the form of public testing, allowing users to digitally sign the content of documents in Google Docs or Google Drive services.
This feature was previously tested in the Alpha version with limited functionality. This update is a Beta version and is expected to be available to individual Workspace users within the next 15 days. Small studios and enterprises can apply to their managers for use.
In addition to being able to sign digital signatures within documents, Google plans to add features that can track the progress of document signing, allow multiple parties to sign, and even allow external parties to sign, thereby simplifying the document digital management process.
Similar functions are already provided by companies such as Box and Dropbox.Similar services, and integrated with its own file storage function. Google’s announcement to expand the provision of digital signature functions is obviously to further attract more users to perform digital work through its services.
