Previously used inNotebookLM ServiceAudio Overviews will alsoIncorporate Google Search service, allowing users to "listen" to search results directly through voice summaries, and also allowing users to better understand the key points of the content through virtual conversations.
This feature is more suitable for searching for content that requires detailed explanation or description, such as a real historical event, the origin of a celebration, or an introduction to a specific person. Like the NotebookLM service, it can present the key points of the search content through a conversation between two virtual hosts.
The playback speed can be adjusted from 0.25x slowdown to 2x speedup, and the AI can also be used to confirm the original reference webpage content, thereby confirming more complete content details. Other functions also allow users to ask questions to the virtual host or use the in-depth exploration mode to further understand specific content details.
In previous updates, Google has enabled NotebookLM to support more than 50 languages, allowing users of mainstream languages including Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, German, French, Arabic, Korean, etc. to easily organize document data through NotebookLM and output it as voice conversation discussion content. This not only makes it convenient for users to "read" by listening, but also allows them to directly create podcast content.
In addition, Google has already launched standalone NotebookLM apps for Android and iOS, making it more convenient for users. The inclusion of voice summaries in Google Search will allow more people to "read" lengthy search results through voice summaries.
This feature is currently still in the testing phase, and users must apply to join the test through Google Labs.
