Google earlier announced that it would open a one-year free subscription to Google One AI Premium for college students in the United States. This subscription will allow them to use Google Drive services with up to 2TB of storage capacity, as well as a number of artificial intelligence tools provided by Google, including the Gemini 2.5 artificial intelligence model and Deep Research, NotebookLM Plus and other functions.
To apply for this plan, users must apply via email using a valid *.edu domain name and complete the registration before June 6th of this year to receive this free service.
