During Google I/O 2023A note-taking service called Project Tailwind, currentlyNotebookLMThe name was introduced, but it remained an experimental product.
This service boasts of collecting data from all sources and integrating it on a single platform through artificial intelligence. The aggregated data can then be presented with artificial intelligence suggestions or made easier to read and use.
At the same time, the compiled data will also indicate the source and establish a correct data citation presentation method to facilitate users to compile tedious and fragmentary information in a more efficient way.
Currently, NotebookLM only supports the aggregation of document content within the Google Docs service, and can automatically generate a summary of key content, allowing users to read and understand the document content more quickly. NotebookLM can even answer the details of the aggregated document content, or regenerate more relevant content based on the document content, such as video scripts, derivative question content, etc.
Google said that since the content generated by NotebookLM mainly comes from the compiled documents, it can respond according to the facts of the data, and there will be no situation where artificial intelligence will explain the wrong content. Users can even verify the facts by marking the source of the quotation.
Like most Google services, NotebookLM will initially only be available in the US market, and the main language will be English.
