The Waze team said that this feature was developed in collaboration with the Google Maps team. Through data exchange between the two parties, each other's user communities can report various road conditions in real time on the map, and aggregate the data uploaded by both user communities to present the most realistic real-time traffic conditions, allowing users to adjust their routes according to road traffic and real-time traffic conditions.
The number of global users of Google Maps exceeded 10 billion in October this year, while the number of users of Waze services reached 20 million in 2022.
