Starting from 2021, users will be allowed to manage their personal informationSearch results on the InternetLater, Google allowed users tomore intuitiveVerify that the profile has been removed from search results.
In the past, once a user's personal information was scraped by Google's search engine, they would typically have to go through a complaint process to request its removal, and would have to wait for a period of time before it could no longer be seen. In recent years, Google has begun allowing users to review how their personal information has been viewed in its search results through their personal account management tools, and also provides an online option to request removal.
This update further simplifies the process for users to apply to remove personal information from the "results related to you" search content. Users can directly submit a removal application from the search list results through the "⋮" icon at the back, thereby reducing the operation process.
If users directly remove or readjust the content from a specific website, they can also choose to re-crawl the page in the "Results related to you" search content to update it so that Google search results conform to the changed status.
However, this feature is not currently available in all regions. For example, it does not seem to be available in Southeast Asian countries yet, but it is expected that Google will gradually make it available in various countries and regions in the future.
