According to Google's product department, the Gemini Nano developer preview version, which is expected to be available on Pixel 8, is expected to provide key summary of the content in the recording tool and smart replies in the Gboard input tool, and can be used in services such as LINE, Kakao Talk or WhatsApp.
The next feature update is expected to be released in June this year, and may also include more application features that Google may be preparing to introduce at Google I/O 6 this year.
In addition to enabling the Gemini Nano large-scale natural language model to be used by the Pixel 3 and Pixel 8 Pro equipped with the Tensor G8 processor, MediaTek recently confirmed that its Dimensity 9300 and Dimensity 8300 processors can also support Gemini Nano. Qualcomm also stated that its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors also support this large-scale natural language model. It is expected that more Android phones will be able to use various on-device artificial intelligence applications and services with Gemini Nano.
