With the announcement of the launch of Google Cloud service platform at Google I/O 2023Duet AI FeaturesAt the Google Cloud Next '23 event, Google further expanded the application scope of Duet AI functions.
Duet AI initially automatically generates code and optimizes the network platform's operating environment based on program requirements, reducing the time required for service development and deployment. At this event, Google expanded Duet AI capabilities to include services like Google Workspace, Google Meet, and Google Chat, using artificial intelligence to enhance network security, ensure compliance with policies, and protect data privacy.
Regarding application development and enterprise data utilization, Google is also extensively leveraging Duet AI capabilities within the Google Cloud service platform, enhancing application development in multi-cloud environments. However, some features are currently in preview and will not be available until the end of this year at the earliest. These features primarily utilize artificial intelligence to simplify development processes and application deployment, enabling developers and businesses to bring services to market faster while ensuring data and operational security.
Among them, Google's updates to the BigQuery data analysis service mainly include the addition of Duet AI functions to assist in writing SQL language or Python coding content, and the use of the new Looker function to automatically summarize data analysis projects, or to quickly calculate data analysis results with the help of calculation formulas. In addition, the Duet AI function can also help merge content from different databases, and even propose new data calculation and analysis, or BigQuery Studio functions for machine learning, and even integrate Vertex AI functions with BigQuery services to enable data to be connected with automatically generated artificial intelligence application services.
Following the launch of the new database service AlloyDB last year, Google is now moving AlloyDB Omni, a downloadable and backupable database service that can run in Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, or private cloud environments, and even on personal laptops, from a conceptual design to a previewable service. In addition, Google is also introducing AlloyDB AI to meet the needs of automatically generated artificial intelligence applications, allowing enterprises to build automatically generated artificial intelligence services with their own databases.
To ensure service operational security, Google has introduced a new protection feature called Spanner Data Boost, which uses high-efficiency computing to enable enterprise services to maintain operations with near-zero impact. For application development, Google also offers a variety of automatically generated artificial intelligence service development tools and has expanded its partnership with the integrated software development platform GitLab, allowing users to develop in a more secure and convenient online environment.
On the other hand, Google also uses Duet AI capabilities for data security protection, allowing enterprises and developers to ensure the security of application service operations.
