At the Google I/O 2025 event, Google announced the launch of a new video creation tool called Flow that combines artificial intelligence. On the other hand, it also announced the launch of Veo 3 tools that can generate video and sound content simultaneously, as well as Imagen 4 image generation tools.
Flow can basically be seen as a video creation tool that combines Gemini's artificial intelligence technology, and it can even create content through Imagen image generation and Veo video generation functions.
Users can basically input text descriptions to allow Flow to generate different storyboards, and produce dynamic videos through subsequent descriptions. They can even further extend the length of the video or adjust the details. At the same time, it also emphasizes that the generated image quality is very clear and natural.
Google is currently collaborating with numerous filmmakers to further enhance Flow. Flow will initially be available in the United States to users of subscription plans like Google AI Pro, and will be available in more countries and regions later.
The Veo 3 video generation tool, also announced this time, adds the ability to generate audio content, and claims that the generated audio content will be consistent with real-world scenarios. It will currently be available in the United States to users of subscription plans such as Google AI Pro, and can also be accessed through Google Cloud's Vertex AI platform.
As for the Imagen 4 image generation tool, it is also claimed to be able to process more image details and even produce images with up to 2K resolution.
In addition, to avoid the impact of too much AI-generated content, Google not only adds a SynthID digital watermark to the content generated by its AI tools, but also provides tool resources that can identify SynthID and open them to the public, allowing users to use them to identify whether the image content is generated by AI.
