OnGoogle I/O 2024As the rollout is about to begin, Google announced earlier that it will provide the first wave of Android 15 public preview versions to general users, which can be installed and tested on Pixel 6 series, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7 series, Pixel 7a, as well as Pixel 8 series, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablet models.
If you have previously installed the Android 14 QPR 3 Beta version, orAndroid 15 Developer Preview, the system will automatically receive the Android 15 public preview version update notification.
Although Google states that this version can be used for development, testing, and general use, it is still in the development and testing stage, so abnormal operation may still occur. It is recommended to install it on a spare phone for safety.
This update is mainly based on the preview version previously provided to developers, and adjustments have been made to known issues, including network connection, interface abnormalities, or system display abnormalities.
Google is expected to announce more about the Android 2024 update during Google I/O 15 this year. The official version is expected to be officially released this fall, and the Pixel 9 series of mobile phones are also expected to be updated.
