GoogleEmphasizeVeo 2 is not focused on producing long video content. Its main purpose is to help creators fill gaps in video length or produce video content in a more economical way, thereby making video creation more flexible.

Veo 2 mainly improves the generated results to make them more consistent with real-world physical movements, human body movements, and subtle expressions, thereby increasing the authenticity of the generated images.

Veo 2 also incorporates specialized cinematography terminology, such as the ability to generate a video using a low-angle panning tracking lens, or generate corresponding images based on user input of an 18mm focal length lens. It can even blur the background with a shallow depth of field effect, focusing the visual focus on the subject.

Currently, Veo 2 can generate videos with a maximum resolution of 4K and a length of up to 2 minutes, which is almost four times the highest resolution of Sora proposed by OpenAI and more than 6 times the length. It can also accurately follow the instructions entered by the user and generate videos based on real physical performance. It is also claimed to be able to reduce the proportion of hallucinations.
