Google's Bard product lead, Jack Krawczyk, and VP of Engineering, Amarnag Subramanya, announced,BardStarting today, support for more than 40 languages will be added, including Traditional Chinese, German, Spanish, Indian and Arabic, and the Bard service will be brought to Brazil and more countries and regions in Europe.
Bard was officially launched during Google I/O 2023 this year, and uses the new version of large-scale natural language PaLM 2, allowing users to use Bard services through natural language interaction and provide various opinions or answers in an automatically generated manner through Bard.
In addition, users can now adjust the tone of Bard's replies, which include simple, long, short, professional, and casual, making it easier for users to listen to answers. However, this feature is currently only available for the English version of Bard.
Other features include the ability to pin and rename conversations, export automatically generated code to Google Colab or Replit, and share Bard replies for others to reference. In the English version, Google has officially integrated Google Lens with Bard, allowing users to interact with Bard through image recognition.
Google said it will continue to adjust the Bard application functions to make it a more convenient Internet tool for everyone.
