In the Palace of Versailles exhibition project in France, Google has worked closely with the Palace of Versailles to digitize a lot of content, allowing more users to experience the awe brought by this magnificent French royal palace through the Internet. At the same time, they can also learn more about the stories behind royal members such as Louis XIV, who has a deep connection with the Palace of Versailles, and Marie Antoinette, the last queen before the French Revolution.
In addition, users can also learn more details through different themes, such as the furnishings and related designs in the Palace of Versailles, as well as the influence of French culture at the time. They can also further understand the scientific and innovative projects that were born in France at that time, or the changes that occurred after the French Revolution.
Users with HTC VIVE or Oculus Rift can use virtual reality to learn about the interior details of the Palace of Versailles, such as Louis XIV's bedroom, the Royal Opera House, and the famous Palace of Mirrors within the Palace of Versailles. They can even switch to night mode for viewing.
