Google recently added aGrammar check function, will give users the right suggestions at the right time. This feature has already been provided in services such as Gmail, and it is obviously hoped that it will make it easier for users to search for accurate content, while also allowing Google services to better understand what users are actually looking for.
Judging from the operation behavior of the vast majority of users, most of them search by combining different keywords with spaces. However, from Google's current position, it is clear that it prefers users to search with complete questions, such as "What's the weather like today?", "What are the attractions in San Francisco", and other questions with clear purposes, rather than guessing the user's search purpose through a single or several keywords.
Therefore, when users enter a complete question sentence in the search field, it becomes important to present it with correct grammar. Otherwise, the search system may break it down and judge it as different keywords, resulting in search results that may be different from what was expected.
The grammar check feature that Google has added to its search service this time mainly adds a "grammar check" or "check grammar" button after the user enters a complete question in the search field. It can determine whether the grammar of the question entered by the user is correct, and then prompt the user to copy and use the correct grammar content.
This feature is powered by artificial intelligence, so there may still be errors. Furthermore, this grammar checker will not be activated if the user's input contains content that is dangerous, harassing, hateful, medical, sexually explicit, terrorist, violent, or gory, or contains vulgar or obscene language.
At the same time, the grammar check function is currently only available for English content, and more language versions may be added in the future.
