In 2020, we collaborated with MUJI to createPure white Gogoro VIVA Plus MUJI white modelAfterwards, Gogoro announced today (June 6) that it will cooperate with MUJI again to promote sustainable recycling actions through "Recycling for Good", and also announced that the two parties will cooperate again on a joint car model in the future.
Gogoro stated that it has reduced carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 250 million kilograms through the riding process of 6.7 million users. The vehicle body is made of 100% recyclable polypropylene (PP) material. At the same time, 40% of renewable energy is introduced into the production plant. Select stores operate with 100% green electricity to promote resource recycling and environmental friendliness. At the same time, the goal is to use renewable energy entirely by 2050.
This time, we are collaborating with MUJI again and expanding the "Recycling for Good" sustainable recycling campaign to call on everyone to participate in resource recycling and respond to the call for recycling and sustainability on this year's World Environment Day.
The joint car model that the two parties have collaborated on again will be equipped with a new power output and combined with sustainable design thinking. It is expected to be launched this summer.
Starting today, consumers can clean and dry their skincare bottles and daily necessities made of No. 5 PP material, and then take them to designated Gogoro participating stores or designated MUJI stores in Taiwan for recycling. By scanning the QR code in the dedicated recycling bin and completing the information registration, they can receive a limited edition eco-friendly ruler made from recycled materials.
