Recently announced that it will use a large "X" as its image and announced that it will launch a new two-wheeled crossover SUV modelCrossOverAfterwards, Gogoro officially unveiled the details of this new model today (10/24), launching the standard CrossOver and the advanced CrossOver S.
Gogoro said that CrossOver is not only Gogoro's first SUV model, but also incorporates a wealth of customization and personalization features. At the same time, more optional functions can be selected through the new 6.8 iQ System.
Gogoro also stated that the CrossOver is optimized for various road conditions and uses a newly developed all-terrain frame. This provides greater rigidity, improved operational stability and strength during driving, and with a ground clearance of 14.2 cm, it can cope with various terrains, making it the tallest model in the Gogoro series.
The vehicle features an expansion system with 26 locking points, allowing users to utilize the headlights, footrests, seats, and rear cargo area to load additional cargo racks. The rear seats can also be flipped or removed to increase cargo capacity. Gogoro has also designed custom side panel racks, an off-road front rack, and a lightweight aluminum front cargo basket specifically for this model, allowing for greater customization and personalization.
The power part uses the new G2.2 aluminum alloy water-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum output power of 7.6kW. It is equipped with a FLO DRIVE belt drive system to provide a smoother riding experience. In addition, an SBS synchronous braking system and front and rear disc brake design are added to ensure sufficient braking effect.
To meet the needs of all-terrain use, the CrossOver model has also increased the durability of the suspension system, allowing it to withstand higher loads while maintaining both comfort and stability. It is also equipped with 12-inch Maxxis MA-EV high-grip dual-performance tires to improve grip stability during driving. In addition, it also uses tactical LED ultra-bright full-time headlights to provide expandable cargo loading capacity while maintaining a complete beam illumination range.
The control part also uses the SSmartcore intelligent electronic control system and integrates the TCS traction control system. The owner can also choose the cruise control mode to make it easier to operate the vehicle when riding long distances. In addition, the owner can also choose to use more intelligent functions through the 6.8 iQ System, and can combine with the 4G LTE connection function to provide real-time confirmation of vehicle status, confirm vehicle location, open the cabin, and lock the vehicle.
The Gogoro CrossOver is available in Desert White and Night Storm Gray, while the CrossOver S is available in Mystic Red, Summit Yellow, Desert White, or Night Storm Gray. In Taiwan, the CrossOver is priced at NT$82800 (NT$53500 with government subsidies), while the CrossOver S is priced at NT$89800 (NT$60500 with government subsidies).
In conjunction with the launch of the CrossOver series, Gogoro has also launched the Gogoro Bespoke Club customization service in Taiwan, allowing CrossOver owners to combine more than 100 color combinations to create a more personalized car model.
