In response to CPC's discontinuation of cooperation, 38 GoStation battery swap stations located at CPC gas stations across Taiwan will cease operations at the end of September.Gogoro NetworkToday (9/19), it was announced that the third-generation GoStation 3.0 battery swap station will be launched. In addition, the Super GoStation super battery swap station will be built, and a new generation of batteries designed based on 21700 lithium ternary battery cell technology will be launched in large quantities.
In addition, Gogoro also announced the launch of the "Freedom Save" battery plan, which provides dynamic discounts through artificial intelligence and real-time data analysis, calculates more appropriate fees based on actual battery usage, and even provides free "performance enhancement services" to allow users to use their batteries in a more appropriate and flexible way.

Next-generation GoStation 3.0 battery swap station
Compared with the previously builtGoStationThe new generation GoStation 3.0 battery swap station will be designed with a more compact cabinet, which will not only reduce the space required by the original battery swap station, but also accommodate more swap batteries and charge them more efficiently.

Gogoro Network stated that GoStation 3.0 adopts a brand-new design. The biggest change is the use of a square cabinet design. In the space that previously only accommodated a single battery swap station, two GoStation 3.0 battery swap stations can be set up back to back, thereby more efficiently utilizing the space and providing more swap batteries.
With an increased number of batteries, the GoStation 3.0 battery swap station can maintain up to 64 hours of autonomous power supply in the event of a power outage. It can also serve as an emergency power source in situations such as natural disasters, providing bidirectional charging and discharging, fast charging, and microgrid power allocation. In the future, the battery swap station's power resources will even be able to connect to more application services.

Super GoStation battery swap stations expanded to all six major cities in Taiwan, with a large number of new batteries deployed
In response to the growing demand for battery swaps, Gogoro Network announced that it will begin building Super GoStations, each capable of accommodating over 4 batteries, starting in April this year. Each Super GoStation will be able to store and manage a total of over 100kWh of battery capacity, thereby meeting the battery swap needs of over 200 Gogoro owners.
Currently, Gogoro Network has opened three Super GoStation super battery swap stations in Taiwan, and it is expected to complete the construction of at least one in each of the six major cities in Taiwan by the end of this year, so that more battery swap needs can be met through Super GoStation super battery swap stations.
Gogoro Network also announced that it will begin rolling out a new generation of batteries based on 21700 lithium-ion ternary cell technology to gradually replace older batteries initially deployed. This will be coupled with a new generation of battery swap stations and Super GoStations, allowing more riders to access fully charged batteries during peak hours.

Freedom Saver Battery Service Plan
Another highlight of the press conference was the announcement that the "FreeSave" battery service plan will be launched in October this year in beta form for testing. Once this plan is open for testing, users can choose to use it on the mobile app.

The "Free Saver" battery service plan is designed to charge drivers based on their actual battery usage and can dynamically offer discounts of up to 20%. This encourages drivers to swap batteries during off-peak hours or at nearby GoStations with lower usage. This allows the Gogoro Network's energy network usage demand to be distributed across various stations, thereby improving overall battery swap efficiency and avoiding situations where a single station is overused, resulting in an inability to successfully swap batteries with sufficient power or requiring waiting.
The "Freedom Saver" battery service plan will be available to Gogoro owners who pay a monthly plan of NT$299 or more. Under this plan, they will pay NT$2.3 per ampere hour, receive a monthly discount of up to NT$200, enjoy unlimited battery swaps, and also receive a free performance upgrade plan of NT$249 per month.
To promote this tariff plan, Gogoro Network will offer an additional battery fee discount of NT$3 per month for three consecutive months to those who subscribe before the end of this year.
