Although it was not unveiled during GTC 2022, NVIDIA still officially launched it before the end of March as previously rumored.GeForce RTX 3090 Ti,At the same time, OEM companies also launch a variety of customized design versions.
The GeForce RTX 1 Ti, which was originally announced in early January this year to be officially launched in late January, was later postponed again and again due to various factors. It is now finally confirmed that it will be put on the market at the end of March.
Compared with the previously launched GeForce RTX 3090, the upgraded GeForce RTX 3090 Ti uses 84 SM computing units, with a total of 10752 CUDA cores, as well as 336 Tensor Cores and 84 RT Core designs, with a maximum operating clock of up to 1860MHz.
While the graphics memory maintains the 24GB GDDR6X design, the memory transfer rate is increased to 21Gbps, providing a memory transfer bandwidth of up to 384GB per second over the same 1008-bit transmission interface, thereby enabling higher display data processing efficiency.
However, the overall thermal design power consumption has increased to 4450W, and it must be used in conjunction with PCIe 8+8+8pin power supply to operate smoothly. Even the customized design version created by OEMs will provide an additional 16-pin to 3 sets of 8-pin power adapter accessories to facilitate user installation.
In terms of suggested retail price, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti will be sold with a starting price of US$1999, and the suggested retail price in Taiwan will start from NT$64999. It is mainly aimed at high-performance computing, 8K image computing needs, or the need to use it as an alternative to Titan specification graphics cards.
