The Galaxy Watch Active 2 Under Armour collaboration will be priced at NT$11500 and is expected to launch on October 10th at Samsung Experience Centers, Samsung Smart Centers, Samsung Malls, designated Tsann Kuen stores, and major retail outlets throughout Taiwan. Purchases made before November 13th will include a complimentary wireless flash charging pad and a NT$11 coupon for select Under Armour HOVR running shoes.
In addition, to coincide with the launch of Galaxy Watch Active2, Samsung will also offer a 8% discount on designated watch straps.
Aside from the similarities in basic design and functionality, the Galaxy Watch Active2 Under Armour will provide voice prompts and vibration haptic feedback during exercise. It will also provide real-time exercise guidance based on data measured by the watch or running shoes equipped with Under Armour's HOVR series smart chips. Post-workout, users can also access data analysis and follow-up exercise guidance on their phone.
In addition, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 Under Armour co-branded model will come with a 6-month MapMyRun Premium membership service, allowing users to obtain further sports training effects.
The watch body will be made of lightweight, stylish and sporty aluminum alloy and will be available in two sizes: 44mm with a black strap and 40mm with a gray strap. Both straps are made of fluororubber (FKM) and the watch face will also be designed in collaboration with Under Armour.
The Taiwan version is mainly 44mm, and the 40mm model has not yet been introduced.
