Samsung begins targeting pre-order users in South KoreaAdvance deliveryAfterwards, the iFixit website quickly disassembled theGalaxy S8AndGalaxy S8+The disassembly results show that the new battery used in the new phone still bears the Samsung brand. At the same time, the battery slot inside the body is carefully handled, and the battery components are isolated from the internal electronic components.

After emphasizing at the beginning of this year that it would develop new phones with a more cautious attitude and review each production process, Samsung adopted the same approach in its earlier launched flagship Galaxy S8 series.New battery designAn actual teardown on the iFixit website revealed that the new battery design is indeed more stable. The battery compartment design also minimizes the battery's isolation from the electronics, minimizing the risk of battery fires and explosions, as seen in last year's Galaxy Note 7 due to internal burrs. While the new battery still bears the Samsung brand, it's unclear whether it's manufactured by Samsung SDI or another partner.

The 4GB LPDDR4 memory uses Samsung production specifications, while the built-in 64GB UFS NAND flash and control chip are produced by Toshiba. The two Galaxy S8 series models disassembled by the iFixit website this time both use Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor specifications, but Samsung will provide versions using its own Exynos 8895 processor specifications in specific markets such as South Korea and Taiwan.

iFixit stated that the Galaxy S8 series is relatively easy to disassemble and repair, primarily due to its 10nm FinFET processor design. This reduces the space occupied by internal components and the motherboard, reducing the electronic components from the cramped interiors of previous models and making component replacement easier. However, due to the size difference, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ utilize different motherboard designs.
