According to NCC data, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has passed relevant electromagnetic testing and may be launched in the Taiwanese market in the near future. However, Samsung Taiwan has not yet responded to this.
The Galaxy Note Edge, which debuted at IFA 2014 last year, features the same hardware specifications as the Galaxy Note 4, but features a curved screen on the right side, allowing users to display additional information on the side screen, or operate simple functions, view instant messages, and other applications while the main screen remains dormant.
While the Galaxy Note Edge launched in markets like South Korea, China, Japan, and the US last year, Taiwan only maintains the Galaxy Note 4. This is likely due to factors like curved screen production capacity and market size considerations. If sales in Taiwan are reopened in the near future, it would indicate that production capacity for screens and other components is returning to normal.
