Samsung announced today (10/1) that the Galaxy Tab S10 series of smart tablets will be launched in Taiwan, and revealed that the Traditional Chinese version of Galaxy AI Taiwan is expected to be launched before Christmas this year.
Samsung's first flagship tablet uses a MediaTek processor
The Galaxy Tab S10 series became Samsung's first flagship tablet device to use a MediaTek processor, with the Galaxy Tab S14.6 Ultra (10 inches) and the Galaxy Tab S12.4+ (10 inches). Both are touted as Samsung's first smart tablets to incorporate artificial intelligence applications.
Although the screen sizes of the two are different, they both support 120Hz frame refresh rate and adopt Dynamic AMOLED 2X display panel design. They are available in Wi-Fi version and 5G connection version, and the processors are both equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ specifications.
In terms of other specifications, the Taiwan version of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra also uses 12GB or 16GB of memory, with 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage capacity, and supports an additional 1.5TB of storage capacity expansion using a micro SD memory card. The Galaxy Tab S10+ offers 12GB of memory and 256GB or 512GB of storage capacity, and can also be expanded with an additional 1.5TB of storage capacity using a micro SD memory card.
Like previously launched mobile phones, the Galaxy Tab S10 series tablets also incorporate Galaxy AI services, which support artificial intelligence application functions such as meeting record content compilation, key summaries, PDF translation, graffiti, circle search, etc. In addition, smart home connected devices can be operated through artificial intelligence, and the operation interface can be presented in the form of a 3D map, allowing users to quickly set up various smart home appliances that support SmartThings connection specifications.
Both tablets support IP68 water and dust resistance and are made of reinforced Armor AL aluminum. They provide a physical SIM card slot and eSIM function. In addition, the user's identity can be verified through the under-screen fingerprint recognition function, and the S Pen stylus connected via Bluetooth can be used for input.
In addition to the S Pen accessory, Samsung also offers a Book Cover, a Slim Book Cover, a Smart Book Cover, an Outdoor Rugged Cover, as well as paper-like screen protectors and privacy screen protectors. The keyboard also features a dedicated Galaxy AI call button, making it easier for users to access Galaxy AI applications.
In terms of suggested retail price, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra will be available as a single tablet and a keyboard set, available in two colors: Lunar Lime and Platinum Silver, and will also be available in 5G and Wi-Fi versions. The suggested retail price starts at NT$39990 and the maximum price is NT$62990. The Galaxy Tab S10+ is also available in two colors: Lunar Lime and Platinum Silver, and will be available in 5G and Wi-Fi versions. Both tablets will be available for sale at Samsung Smart Stores, Samsung Malls, and major channels across Taiwan starting today, but the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra keyboard set will only be sold exclusively at Samsung Malls and Samsung Smart Stores.
The Traditional Chinese version of the Galaxy AI application service will be available in Taiwan by the end of this year
In addition, Samsung has previously confirmed that the Galaxy AI application service will be produced in Traditional Chinese in Taiwan. It has also confirmed that the Traditional Chinese version will be available around Christmas this year to provide a localized user experience.
