Google has announced the official launch of its new lightweight subscription plan, "Google AI Plus," in 35 countries, including the United States and Taiwan. This plan emphasizes "affordable AI," with a monthly fee of only NT$260 in Taiwan (US$8 in the US), providing access to mid-to-high-end Gemini 3 Pro models, the hyper-realistic drawing tool Nano Banana Pro, and 200GB of cloud storage, aiming to capture the mass market with its affordable pricing.
What does the Google AI Plus solution include?
Compared to the top specificationGoogle AI Premium The (2TB) plan in this Google AI Plus subscription is clearly aimed at users with "light but advanced needs," significantly lowering the subscription threshold. Subscribing unlocks the following features:
• Gemini 3 Pro model:While not the top-of-the-line Ultra version, the Gemini 3 Pro far surpasses the free model in its capabilities for programming, logical reasoning, and Deep Research.
• Nano Banana Pro plot:This is a major highlight. This image generation model can produce "extremely realistic" images that are almost indistinguishable from photographs (reportedly, Google even limited its use due to high demand). It also supports Veo 3.1 Fast, which can convert text into high-definition short videos up to 8 seconds long.

In terms of hardware resources, the Google AI Plus plan comes with 200GB of Google One cloud storage (which can be used for Photos, Drive, and Gmail). Most importantly, these benefits support "Family Sharing," allowing you to share this 200GB of space and some AI benefits with up to five family members.
In addition, Google announced a beneficial policy for existing users: if you are currently a subscriber to the Google One Premium 2TB plan, you will automatically receive all the benefits of Google AI Plus within the next few days, without any additional payment or plan switching. New subscribers starting today will enjoy a 5% discount for the first two months, paying only NT$130 per month.
