In response to the increasing number of devices currently being used, Qualcomm has proposed a low-power wireless connection technology called Snapdragon Seamless, which makes connection and communication between different devices easier and increases the interoperability between various devices.

Apple has already demonstrated a similar design quite comprehensively in its product ecosystem, allowing iPhones, iPads, Macs, and even the upcoming Vision Pro to connect to each other and share content via wireless networks, so that users don't have to worry about how to connect different devices.
Snapdragon Seamless technology, integrated into the newly launched Snapdragon X Elite, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, S7 Pro Gen 1, and the previously launched Snapdragon AR2 Gen 1 computing platforms, allows devices designed with these computing platforms to more easily connect and communicate with each other. It can even directly check the remaining battery life of different connected devices and set the connection status on a single device.

Corresponding functions include screen sharing, file transfer, and even allowing headphone products to switch connections between different devices. For example, when listening to music with headphones on a mobile phone, when switching to work on a laptop, you can directly use the headphones for an online meeting, or quickly switch to a smart glasses device.
Qualcomm is currently collaborating with Microsoft, Google, OPPO, Honor, ASUS, Xiaomi and Lenovo to expand the application development of Snapdragon Seamless technology and enable more devices to quickly connect and interact through this technology.

While Microsoft has also proposed software features that allow Android phones to quickly connect with Windows PCs, and Google has also proposed Fast Pair's rapid connection technology, Qualcomm emphasizes that the goal of Snapdragon Seamless technology is to enable more devices to connect and interact with each other. This includes not only mobile phones, tablets, headphones, and laptops, but also more smart wearable devices and the smart vehicle products that will become more popular in the future.
Qualcomm said that although the Snapdragon Seamless technology is currently compatible with Windows and the Android environment based on Linux, it also provides corresponding connection protocol design, so that Chrome OS devices or more connected devices can also use this technology.
Therefore, whether or not there will be actual support depends mainly on whether OEMs, ODMs and other businesses are willing to join this technology.
There are not many restrictions on its use. It mainly depends on whether the network environment is easily interfered with or the corresponding transmission bandwidth is too low, resulting in the inability to transmit large files.
