Following the previously proposedDeepRacer ProjectAfter making more people familiar with the application of artificial intelligence technology, AWS once again promoted artificial intelligence skill learning in a gamified form, announcing the launch of a new competition platform "AWS AI League", allowing enterprises and developers to apply generative artificial intelligence technology in actual business scenarios and improve related technical capabilities.
The AWS AI League aims to promote generative AI learning through a competition format that combines hands-on practice, competition, and collaboration. Companies can customize their own competitions, allowing employees to design prompts, fine-tune models, and create AI solutions tailored to their needs. The entire competition process includes a two-hour workshop, independent experimentation, and a finals. The entire competition takes only half a day and is suitable for 2 to 500 participants.
During the competition, participants solved real-world business challenges, such as financial fraud detection, medical report writing, or content creation, and were scored based on real-time leaderboards, including model accuracy and latency performance. In the finals, experts and the audience were invited to jointly select the best solution.
AWS also provides AWS Credits technical resources worth up to US$200 million as support, and will award a US$2025 championship prize at the re:Invent conference to be held at the end of 2.5 to attract participants to continue to innovate.
The competition is divided into two tracks: "Cue Word Master" emphasizes unlocking AI's potential with optimal cue words, while "Model Tuning Expert" focuses on precisely optimizing models for specific industries. Participants will use AI tools such as Amazon SageMaker, Bedrock, and Nova, operating within dedicated accounts to ensure security and cost control.
The AWS AI League is more than just a competition; it's an innovative way to cultivate AI capabilities. Companies can apply to host competitions through the official website, and developers can also participate at public events such as the AWS Summit and re:Invent.
