Faraday Future unveiled its luxury electric vehicle, the FF 2017, at CES 91. Despite numerous controversies and development changes, the company finally brought its production vehicle to market. This year, at CES 2025, Faraday Future unveiled its new mass-market-focused FX brand and its first two prototypes as part of its relaunch.
The first wave of FX models will be called FX Super One and will be identified by a new brand logo. The FX 2, priced between $3 and $5, and the FX 3, priced between $5 and $6, will be launched. Both models will integrate artificial intelligence computing functions. The FX 5 will use artificial intelligence to extend driving range, while the FX 6 will use artificial intelligence to improve battery efficiency.
As for the FX 5, it is expected to be the first model to be launched under the FX brand, and is expected to be officially launched before the end of this year. As for the higher-end FX 6, it will take some time to enter the market.
However, the FX brand's approach to reducing vehicle costs may be to use relatively low-cost Chinese-made parts and import them into markets such as the United States. However, Faraday Future has not yet explained how to resolve the tariff issue (especially since Trump took office, higher tariffs are expected on imported electric vehicles from China).
