Bethesda announced earlier that to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its open-world role-playing game "Fallout 4" (released on November 10, 2015), it will officially launch "Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition" on November 10 this year.
The release of this version is clearly modeled after Bethesda's previous anniversary edition of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which integrated the game itself with subsequent major expansions, as well as a large amount of officially selected community-created content, into a complete digital version.
Integrating three major story expansions and the Workshop series
According to Bethesda, Fallout 4: 10th Anniversary Edition will include the following:
• Fallout 4 game:The story is set in the Boston wasteland 210 years after the nuclear war (2287). The player plays the role of the "Sole Survivor" who wakes up from the cryostat of Shelter 111.
• Main plot expansion content:Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka-World
• Workshop expansion content:Includes "Wasteland Workshop", "Contraptions Workshop", "Vault-Tec Workshop"
Includes 150 Creation Club titles with a built-in browsing menu
In addition to the official DLC content mentioned above, a major selling point of this Anniversary Edition is the inclusion of over 150 additional items from the Creation Club. Creation Club is an in-game marketplace established by Bethesda for developers and featured creators to sell small DLC items such as weapons, cosmetics, and new missions.
This free bundle includes a wide variety of Creation Club content, including Dogmeat companions in various visual styles, such as Husky and Dalmatian. Furthermore, the Anniversary Edition will feature a new "Creations" menu directly within the game, making it easy to browse, manage, and download included or purchased Creation Club content.
Distribution platform and format
Fallout 4: 10th Anniversary Edition is expected to be released in pure digital format, and the platforms it will be available on include Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
