Users only need to loosen a few visible screws to quickly remove the bottom cover and directly replace the battery. The battery itself is not secured with adhesive, making replacement easier.
In addition, the Fairphone 6 will be available in three back cover colors: black, green, and white, and users can mix and match different colors according to their personal preferences.

In addition to the battery, the Fairphone 6 also features replaceable main camera modules consisting of a 5000-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 1300-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, as well as components that are more susceptible to damage, such as the 1300-megapixel front video camera, screen, speaker, and USB-C port. These components can be easily disassembled and replaced by the user, without the need for professional repair services.
As for the hardware specifications, the Fairphone 6 is still targeted at the mid-range market and is expected to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, a 6.31-inch display that supports a 120Hz frame refresh rate, built-in 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage capacity, and support for expanding storage space with a micro SDXC memory card. The battery capacity is 4415mAh.
The new phone is also expected to have an IP55 waterproof and dustproof design, which can withstand daily splashes of water or raindrops, but it is uncertain whether it can continue to maintain its waterproof effect while allowing users to disassemble and repair it.
Regarding the price, the relevant news indicates that the Fairphone 6 will be sold at a suggested retail price of 550 Euros (approximately NT$20000).
