Ubisoft officially announced that "Chronicle of the Wrath" will be officially launched on November 11 this year. It is expected to be released on PlayStation 8, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC (sold through Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store) platforms. It supports cross-platform play and cross-platform progress synchronization, and can even be played by subscribing to the Ubisoft+ service on the PC platform.
Developed by Ubisoft Singapore in collaboration with other Ubisoft studios, Chronicles of the Wrath will allow players to experience a pirate-themed multiplayer game in an open world and rise from an exile to become a pirate overlord.
Inspired by pirate legends, "Raging Seas" lets players immerse themselves in the life of a pirate. Whether accepting contracts, gathering resources, sailing important trade routes, or even attacking wealthy merchant ships, every decision will affect the player's journey, bringing varying degrees of risk and reward.
As players' reputation grows, they will be able to build and customize their own naval fleets, as well as unlock various new items during the game.
The game's background story is set in the late 17th century, one of the most dangerous periods in history and regarded as the second golden age of piracy. It laid the foundation for a chaotic and ruthless era where pirates, fighting factions, powerful organizations and empires all compete for power in the dangerous paradise of the Indian Ocean.
In addition to allowing players to build a pirate empire in the open world, they can also compete through PVP. More gameplay content will continue to be added through additional content in the future.
The game content will be available in both Standard and Premium Editions. The Premium Edition includes the Blood and Bone Ballad Collection, a collection of cosmetic items for captains and ships, as well as additional digital content including two bonus missions, a digital art book and soundtrack, and a Smuggler's Pass token.
Additionally, players who pre-order "Legend of the Wrath" will receive the "Lord of the Sea Pack" which includes the "Infamous Costume" and "Coronation Fireworks."
