AsMicrosoft previously announced, originally available exclusively on the Xbox platformSea of Thieves (Sea of Thieves) officially landed on the PlayStation 5 game platform.
Prior to this, in order to successfully acquire Activision Blizzard, Microsoft not only transferred its cloud streaming game business in the UK market to Ubisoft, but also promised to provide game content equally to other game platforms. For example, it was previously confirmed that "Pentiment" and "Grounded" released by Obsidian Entertainment, and "Hi-Fi RUSH" released by Tango Gameworks/Bethesda Softworks will be released on platforms other than Xbox.
"Sea of Thieves" released by Rare on PlayStation 5 supports cross-platform play between Xbox, PlayStation and PC, but Microsoft did not disclose whether it will expand the server resources behind it when more players connect to the game.
However, games including Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, Avowed, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will still be exclusive to Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms this year, and will be played simultaneously through the Xbox Game Pass subscription service or through Xbox cloud gaming. It is not yet confirmed whether they will be expanded to other gaming platforms in the future.
