It was recently announced that it will be launched in the EUEpic Games Store for iOSLater, Epic Games officially announced that Apple had agreed to accept its application for a game software market.
However, Apple has actually rejected Epic Games' applications many times before. The reason is that the "Install" button design used by Epic Games in the game software market is too similar to the "Get" used by Apple in the App Store, and the appearance of the in-app purchase label of Epic Games in its game software market is also similar to the design used by Apple.
Epic Games, on the other hand, advocates using the button interface visual design adopted by the market services on most platforms, and also follows Apple's design style on the iOS platform, emphasizing that its main goal is to build a software market service that is easier for users to use.
In subsequent developments, Apple stated that it had accepted Epic Games' application for a game software market, but it is not yet possible to confirm whether it will formally approve Epic Games' application.
In addition to continuing to fight Apple on the grounds that the App Store regulations are unreasonable, Epic Games is also currently arguing with Google and demanding that Google must make its Google Play Store "fully open."
