Prior to this, Elon Musk had revealed that through the technology of Neuralink, the brain technology company he founded, personal brain data can be recorded in digital form, and even thoughts can be converted into digital operation instructions, allowing computer devices to input text or perform specific functions.

In his response to Billy Markus, Elon Musk stated that he had uploaded his brain data to the cloud and that he had spoken with a virtual version of himself. However, Musk did not provide further details about the interaction.

Neuralink has previously completed studies on pigs and monkeysCompleted brain chip implantAlthough it has sparked controversy by being accused of abuse by animal welfare organizations, it is still preparing to carry out a plan to implant chips in human brains this year to achieve the goal of coexistence and interaction between humans and future artificial intelligence.

However, since Neuralink has not yet obtained approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, whether it can successfully complete the implantation of chips in the human brain this year seems to still be uncertain.

Neuralink's main purpose in creating brain chips is to gain a deeper understanding of the brain, and thus to know how to solve problems caused by brain damage due to congenital defects or acquired injuries, such as helping patients with conditions that affect limb movement ability or even language expression or memory due to brain damage.

In addition, Elon Musk also emphasized that this chip can also be used in spinal nerve repair, thereby helping patients with damaged spinal neurons to restore their ability to move. In the future, it may even be possible for people to "communicate" directly through brain chips rather than through communication modes such as speaking and writing. Neuralink's development vision is to combine the human brain with artificial intelligence, so that the brain can be "upgraded" through digitalization, and even back up memories, and transfer memories to other vehicles like a movie, such as a new body or a robot.
