Last October, it announced that it would return to the Steam service platform to sell games with "Jedi: Fallen Order", and in June this year it promised to bring 10 games to the Steam service platform.Bringing back the Steam service platformLater, EA not only made games including "Battlefield", "Mass Effect", "Need for Speed", "Star Wars: Battlefront", "Titanfall 2" and other games available for purchase and collection on the Steam service platform, but also brought more than 1000 game achievements back to Steam, allowing players to have more fun.
In addition to the aforementioned games, EA previously revealed that Dragon Age: Inquisition and Dragon Age II, both developed by BioWare, as well as the famous racing game Need for Speed, Need for Speed: Heat, Need for Speed: Rivals, and other works, as well as Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Unravel, Unravel Two, Fe, and Sea of Solitude, will all be re-listed on the Steam service platform.
According to EA's explanation, more than 1000 game achievements have been brought back to the Steam platform. If they have been obtained on the Origin platform in the past, you only need to download and install the game on the Steam platform and re-play it to restore the game achievements you have obtained in the past.
Next, EA also plans to bring its subscription game service EA Play (originally named EA Access) to the Steam service platform at the end of August to attract more players to play and support.
This adjustment means that EA will no longer have to spend energy on operating and maintaining its own Origin service platform, and players will be able to purchase and collect more game content through the Steam service platform.
